About PrelovedProfit

PrelovedProfit is a small, independent site with one job: help people in the UK and Europe sell secondhand with their eyes open — what each platform takes, what the buyer pays, what postage really costs, and what the tax rules say.

What we publish

Free calculators (profit, fees and pricing) and plain-English guides that each answer one question completely. Every figure comes from a platform’s published fee structure or an official source such as gov.uk, checked in October 2026 — and every guide says where its numbers come from. Platforms change their fees, so we re-check and update rather than leaving stale numbers up.

How the calculators work

All calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or to anyone else. They are guides to help you price and plan — not financial advice.

Independence

PrelovedProfit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vinted, Depop, eBay or any other marketplace. Platform names appear only to describe those platforms’ services, which is why you will never see them in our site name, logo or domain.

What we do not do

We do not copy other sites’ content, publish thin pages to chase keywords, or invent figures. If a number is uncertain, we say so. Tax content is general information only — for your own situation, use HMRC’s tools on gov.uk or speak to an accountant.
